Senior Companions Program
Senior Companions are volunteers age 60 and over who provide assistance and friendship to seniors and other individuals who have difficulty with daily living tasks. They assist clients with paying bills, grocery shopping, and finding transportation to medical appointments. The programs provides training in specific topics/diseases and allows them to become part of a client's "care team", alerting doctors and family members of potential health problems, allowing them to provide immediate care to the client.
