Vaccine Storage and Handling Presentation by Joanna Briggs, RN  October 2009

Benchmarking 2009   This session will address the WyVIP Annual Benchmarking processes and the guidelines for obtaining accurate benchmarking data.

 

Pentacel Clinical Training  This session will address proper use and administration of the Pentacel vaccine.

Rotavirus Training Module  This session will address proper use and administration of the Rotateq and Rotarix vaccines

 

Policy Orientation This session will address program enrollment and eligibility, vaccine availability requirements, fraud and abuse policies, provider compliance, and applicable federal regulations.  

 

Vaccine Orientation This session will address vaccine ordering and reporting, along with vaccine management, storage and handling.

 

Clinical Orientation This session will address vaccine changes and share tools to address medical situations and questions.

Please review the 2009 TOOL KIT Clinical Program Materials prior to viewing the Clinical Orientation.  Also, please refer to your copy of the CDC Pink Book which can also be downloaded HERE. 

 

WyIR Orientation  This session will address proper completion of the following forms required for Provider Enrollment: The WyIR Provider Enrollment Agreement, the WyIR Access Level Form, and The WyIR Individual User Agreement.

ATTENTION!  DO NOT DO THE COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT UNTIL ALL OF THE ORIENTATIONS ARE COMPLETED!
