Does my child qualify?

To be eligible for Kid Care CHIP children must meet the following guidelines:

• A Wyoming resident
• A US citizen or lawful, permanent resident who has legally lived in the US for at least 5 years
• Have not had their 19^th birthday
• Have been uninsured for the past 30 days or longer. Some exceptions apply*
• Meet income guidelines

*Please contact an eligibility specialist for questions about exceptions regarding prior insurance coverage.

Children who are dependents of state employees, are currently in a public institution, or qualify for Medicaid are not eligible for Kid Care CHIP at this time.
