The Wyoming Prescription Drug Assistance Program (PDAP) is funded by the Wyoming Legislature and is administered through the Wyoming Department of Health, Division of Healthcare Financing, Pharmacy Services.

Letter to PDAP Clients

Due to existing budget restriction, it is with sincere regret that I inform you the Prescription Drug Assistance Program (PDAP) will no longer pay for opioid medications beginning May 1, 2014.

Some of these opioid products include: Vicodin (hydrocodone/acetaminophen)

  •    Vicoprofen (hydrocodone/ibuprofen)
  •    Percocet

  •    Oxycontin
  •    Oxycodone
  •    Oxycodone/acetaminophen
  •    Morphine
  •    Buprenorphine

Note: This is not a complete listing of opioid products as there are over one-hundred medications manufactured in this category.

In addition, the co-pay for generic medications covered under PDAP will be increased from $10.00 to $25.00 per prescription. Therefore, all prescriptions (brand and generic) will require a co-pay of $25.00 when picking them up from the pharmacy under the PDAP program.

Benefit

Three (3) prescriptions per month, with a $25 co-pay for generics and brand-name drugs.
