The Consumer Advocacy Program seeks to ensure the uniform application of rights for those individuals who receive services through the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Division. The program also facilitates advocacy among the consumers of these services.

The WySAAG Board will make all reservations for the conference (scholarships and self-pay)
if you are staying at the Holiday Inn. Rooms are $64.00 plus tax of $5.00.
August 21 breakfast, lunch, and dinner & August 22 breakfast and lunch are provided.
WYSAAG is a group of Self Advocates who have been having conferences for consumers for the past nine years. We have had different things each year to try and educate people about their mental illnesses and for people who are dual–diagnosis.
1. Register before July 25, 2007
2. Read “About Scholarships” (info below)
3. Submit Scholarship Application
4. If your scholarship is approved you will be notified with a postcard by August 3, 2007
5. WYSAAG will make your hotel reservation for you (for all attendees)
Who may apply: Anyone who has a mental illness or a family member with mental illness. Anyone who is dual diagnosed.
What can be requested: Motel room expense and some mileage—preferably one car per town.
Please car pool and find a roommate if at all possible. We will allow your own room with a reason why you need your own room.
Remember to send in your Registration and Scholarship request by July 25, 2007.
