The Wyoming Youth Volunteers Organizing to Implement Community Engagement Initiative’s (VOICE Initiative) mission is to empower youth to question perceived and actual community norms and work towards prevention of underage substance use and abuse including alcohol, tobacco, prescription, and other drugs. Alcohol is the most commonly used and abused drug among youth in the United States, more than tobacco and illicit drugs. Young people who persistently abuse substances often experience an array of problems, including academic difficulties, health-related problems (including mental health), poor peer relationships, and involvement with the juvenile justice system. Additionally, there are consequences for family members, the community, and the entire society.

Thank you for your interest in Youth Engagement Grants.  Unfortunately, funding has been expended and applications are now closed.  We will repost the application when morfe funding becomes available.  Thank you.
