As a member of the Emergency Medical Services Team, the paramedic (EMT-P) provides direct and indirect patient care through the protocols set by Wyoming Medical Center and the State of Wyoming Emergency Medical Services Department and is accountable for and provides care within set standards of practice. The paramedic maintains certification and inter-hospital skills by participating in continuing education, practical skills testing, and the rectification process set by the State of Wyoming EMS Department and Wyoming Medical Center. The paramedic provides and is accountable for optimal patient care within the standards of practice.

West Park Hospital EMS is the primary 911 response for 4500 square miles of Park County Wyoming. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and PTO.

Job Requirements: Works in conjunction with Urgent/Emergent Care Service Line EMS Medical Director and Manager within guidelines of the EMT-P certification. The EMT-P assesses, plans, implements and collaborates with other providers to ensure excellence in patient and family care during pre-hospital emergency care prior to and during transportation to a medical facility. The EMT-P also assists with medical treatment of patients in the ECD under the direction of the MD and RN. Performs other duties as assigned.
