Planning
Our planning office provides Public Health Emergency Preparedness planning and assessment. These goals are accomplished by leading inter- and intra-agency working groups charged with conducting on-going threat assessments and vulnerability analyses, workforce preparedness studies, and communications assessments resulting in a comprehensive Public Health Command, Control, Communications, Information and Reporting (PHC3IR) system in compliance with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) model articulated in Homeland Security Presidential Directive – 8; and other special studies/projects as related to bioterrorism and other emergency/disaster requirements.
