Visions - Acquired Brain Injury program at WLRC
A Program for Persons with Brain Injuries
Visions is a residential program specifically designed for individuals with brain injuries resulting in challenging medical, physical, or behavioral problems. The Visions Treatment Team provides an active and function oriented program offering rehabilitation services as a transition from acute care to home, and for long-term care when other care is not available or appropriate. The Visions team integrates physical, occupational and speech therapies with training in life skills to enhance quality of life and encourage individuals to function at the maximum level of independence possible. Job exploration, paid work, social and communication skills, behavior management and staying on task are part of the vocational opportunities centered around each client’s needs and abilities.
